Orange Box PS3 Delay!

How many times is this going to happen? Is this delay STD ever going to water down? With the amount of times the PS3 dealt with this, I doubt it's stopping anytime soon. Now, all 10 people that were looking forward to Team Fortress 2 on PS3 are going to have to wait longer than expected according to MyArcadePlanet.com.

"Valve Software has announced today that the PlayStation 3 version of the Orange Box will be delayed and released several weeks after the Xbox 360 version. This is the third time Valve has missed the deadline: the Orange Box had a original release date of Fall 2006 and was later pushed to summer 2007, which was (yet again) pushed back to October 9th 2007, and now pushed back again for the PlayStation 3. No official reason or date was revealed for the PS3 version.

So there you have it. Boo hoo PS3. Boo hoo. Of course, I really wouldn't know why you would want to get this game for console, I mean unless you had no choice. But then again wouldn't you rather have it for 360 thanks to Xbox Live? I mean considering it does revolve around Multiplayer. Well, TF2 does at least. Oh well, in the end it's a shame for the PS3.

To be fair...360 got pushed back too. It is just the current standing that has been around for MONTHS is that the 360/PC comes out October 6 or something and the PS3 version comes out around a week after.

Personally with the multi-platform games I usually buy the copy with the better graphics version although this is going on PC so this doesn't really matter much to me.

@bhive01: I agree! It was fun! Yeah I'm down! I just wish the ranking / stats system would be fixed already. I keep earning medals and ribbons but don't receive them. Wtf?

@Blindside: Yeah, I know. Especially for the consoles themselves, but hey. I just found it humor in the fact that it pointed at PS3 in this article.

@Milofo: I know what you mean, but when it comes to a game like this, it's all about gameplay. So I'm sure all platforms will be good. I just think PC will be better for obvious reasons.
