I'm a 28 year old gamer from Kansas City, Missouri who primarily plays console games. I've been abusing controllers since I was 5, when I got my NES. Since I'm too old to have teenage fanboy angst, I have game systems from all three of the major players, plus a PC that I play a few older games on. I've been checking out news stories from here since Gametab included D-toid in their list of news feeds. I never felt the urge to join since I'm signed up with too many places as it is.. until I saw the homepage banner bashing Gamespot. I might not be posting blogs on here much, as my gaming blog is over at 1up (http://anaris82.1up.com), but I'll try to post here occasionally. Alright, more later.

Ok, I really think the staff should implement something that before everyone's first post, tells them what is expected from their clogs, and not to suck. It would reduce posts like this by a lot.

So, the blogs are ONLY for gaming talk and people get their panties in a twist if someone new posts an intro blog? Nice. Thanks Wardrox for posting that n00b picture, I know what the forums are, I posted there as soon as I set up my account and blog.
