This is a bad time on destructoid to ask PS3 questions.
The multiplayer sounds kind of cool. That was the only thing I really played in the original. The single player campaign wasn't too amazing IMHO.
The 1st Resistance (only as of now) was pretty fun and I enjoyed the multiplayer in it. Resistance 2 (60 ppl online) looks and sounds like it is going to be pretty cool.
You have a good list of games so far.
SKATE is really cool if you are into that.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is awesome.
Warhawk as everyone but em plays that game.
Call of Duty 4
That's about all I can think of right now.

Rock Band (if you're into music/rhythm games; I love it)

I'm in the same boat, the boat of looking for games to be looking forward to. I got that same mgs4 bundle and ratchet and clank game. I find myself playing pain more than either though. Most of the ps3 games that intrest me I allready have on the 360. Check out that hot shots golf demo, never been a golf fan but that shit is kinda fun. I may actually buy that.

I loved all the different guns and their alt fires in the first game.
Ill be picking it up, if you like first person shooters and just want to have an entertaining time playing one that looks really nice, then go ahead and pick it up for the single player campaign.
But as has been said, the multiplayer will be epic.

Yeah I got Resistance 1 with my PS3 but wasn't too impressed. Resistance 2 though looks like they are really improving on the first and putting some really great features so hopefully it'll be way way better than the first.
As for exclusive games it seems like you already got all the best ones. But you should check out some of the PSN games:
