Dont get me wrong, I want Condemned 2 but...

I have a few bones to pick with it.

I don't like the "new" edgier, i don't give a fuck Ethan Thomas. Reminds me of the darker and always pissed off Prince of Persia. I didn't even feel the need to finish the The Warrior Within because Ubi Soft thought it was a good idea to play fucking Godsmack every time you got into a battle.

Also, I don't like the fact that they didn't bring back Greg Grunberg to reprise his role. I thought he did a fine job in the first game but now since the new Ethan looks like a schmuck, there's no doubt that I won't like the character as much as I did before.

And finally, are any of you actually excited for the multiplayer?

I was excited for the multiplayer until I saw it in action. Two dudes standing in front of each other hitting each other with sticks. woo

Multiplayer for Condemned looks like Manhunt. Do WANT!

I'm torn on this. The original Condemned is one of the best games for the 360, IMO. The sequel just doesn't look as compelling to me, though. As I'm sure it'll still manage to scare the fuck out of me (I haven't been in a high school or public swimming pool since playing the original) I'm sure I'll love it when I rent it, however.

I've thought this game was crap since I first saw it. They seem to have thrown out anything interesting that was in the first one (plot, investigation, a border between reality and insanity), and replaced it with Hobo Sam Fischer, demons, and exploding babies.
