Mari'oween Wrapup and the Luigapocalypse: How Much Mario is Too Much Mario?

Rambling opinion: Gaming Costumes are Cool

Mario just MIGHT be getting overplayed.

Is there a limit? When will it end?

Is the Mario and Luigi thing a costume anymore, or is it like the gaming equivalent of throwing a sheet over your head?

I like Mario. I like costumes. But this has gotten a bit out of control. It's like cocaine. I like coke, I like hos. But man, after that afternoon with Aerosmith's grand kids...

I get it. You like'a the Mario Brothers.

Here are some great gaming teams that haven't been done to death:

1. Pocky & Rocky
2. Professor Layton and his "boy."
3. Little Ninja Brothers
4. Ice Climbers
5. PSP and Wonderswan
6. Great Giana Sisters
7. Palam and Porom
8. Fred Savage and Luke Edwards
9. Sno Brothers
10. Goemon and Ebisumaru.

Or just go as Cho Aniki and one of you be the penis. It's that' simple folks.

In all seriousness, I love that Mario is so popular, and I like good costumes, but maybe next year we could see a few more Dr. Marios, Baby Marios, Tanooki Suit Marios, and Fire Marios? More Hammer Bros.? More Zombie Mr. Rogers?

Yes. This rambling mess counts as content. Eat it up, super-chumps!

One year I actually went as King Graham and everybody thought I was Robin Hood/Peter Pan. That's all I have to say on the subject.

I dressed as Mario this Halloween. Even though I knew it was unoriginal and had been done to death, it was possibly the best night eveeeer!!!!
