im interested to hear what you think i have been wanting to try this game but no one is really talkin about it
Sounds a little frustrating, controlling 2 characters at once and all.
I have it, and let me say it's one of the most fun things on the DS I've ever played.
I wish I had the time to write out what I thought.
It is definitely in my top five games on the DS. The combat is a lot deeper than what it may first look like. I'm about 8 hours into it, and I love it so much.
The two characters thing is really hard if you wanted to use all the functionality it has. However you don't need to use all that to kick ass with it.
This game is pretty fucking incredible, my only complaint was the RETARDED evolution system for the pins (which I guarantee you don't even know about yet). I'd be playing it more, but Rondo of Swords has taken me in...
What is up with the giant floppy shirt collar?
I'm only a couple of hours into it myself. I've only had the time during breaks at work. But it is amazingly fun. And the controling two characters simultaneously is taking some time to get used to (it's like learning a new level of concentration. Not unlike the first time you picked up the concrete factory Game and Watch and realized you had to pay attention to both screens). But it does automatically switch to auto control for the top screen if left alone for a few seconds.
But I'm loving it. The storyline hits an intense not relatively early on. And as soon as the main character decides to stop being a prick, it hits complete enjoyability. Should it continue to be as good, this may turn out to be one of the best DS experiences ever.
