Rare likes to mess with us: KI3 Speculation
AlmightyTooth | 1:06 PM on 10.29.2008 9 comments

As many of you know the demo for Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & bolts was released today. If you didnt know that than go get it. While playing the demo, I came across Bottles the Mole who runs a local tourist information booth. While exploring the menus, there is a Useless Rubbish section in which the following is posed. "What do know about KI3?" with the response;

"I've heard it stars Mighty Bottles. I'm knitting myself a bandanna just in case it turns out to be true."

Is this the developers messing with our heads or some massive conspiracy? You decide.

Initial Impressions: The World Ends With You
AlmightyTooth | 11:34 PM on 04.24.2008 6 comments

Earlier today I made a trip to Wal-Mart to take a look at the Okami watermark (and to shop around I guess) and I come across "The World Ends With You" by Square Enix. I have only heard a little about the game, and the cover art was very well put together, and with my tax money coming in earlier in the day, I decided to pick it up.

This is the story of Neku Sakuraba, an emo kid with nothing to prove and nobody to impress. While walking down the street he gets a text telling him he has an hour to get to a certain location or he will be erased. Thinking he just got spam, he ignores the message. He also notices he has a timer on his hand and the uncanny ability to read peoples thoughts.

The gameplay is like Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories with a twist, you control two characters at the same time on different screens, so it is a little awkward at the first. The bottom screen uses the stylus and the top screen uses the d-pad. The game is pretty straight forward so far.

I have only played the game for about two hours now but it seems like its the kind of game that will keep my interest until I beat it. I really think you should check out this game. And I hope to have a full review out soon.
