Final Rock Band Australian Cofirmation

For fuck's sake, you'd think I've got nothing bettr to talk about. And well, you'd be right. IGN is reporting that Australia finally has a confirmed Rock Band release date for early November. However, there is some good news; the price will be surprisingly decent. $250AU ($208US or 113 GB pounds) will net you the full bundle of the game + instruments.

Whilst this is still slightly good news, it does dash the possibility of us skipping to Rock Band 2. Also, GH:WT will be released a week later, more expensive at $330 but it's the up-to date game and is arguably the better bundle. Now it's up to Australian consumers to decide who's had the best strategy. Me, I can't afford either of these at launch, not with the quality releases in October and November.

about me

Uhhh, I'm a 29 year-old, married, bearded Scotsman living in Australia. I only moved to Oz from my hometown Glasgow three years ago, so I had to really sell all my games before I left, which was slightly upsetting.

Got an X-box 360, DS, Wii and a fairly new PC rig on which I do probably most of my gaming. Which is normally TF2, but Borderlands is taking up a lot of my time. Once that's done, Dragon Age Origins will take up the bulk of my time until Bioshock 2 comes out
Trying to find a find a The World Ends With You, Chrono Trugger and Henry Hatsworth on the DS. Trying to find them in Australia is like trying to find a butchers that sells haggis!
