According to PSPSPS( yeah, I don't know) Metal Gear Solid 4 has received a 15 rating from
the BBFC. Surprised? Me neither. There's blood, gore, language, sexual themes,
the usual rundown, but the BBFC says, "the game also features one use of strong language
and references to suicide and an implied child rape." Do all these things happen at the same
time?

Who would want to rape Sunny?

Alright, so, yesterday the MGO beta download became available. I downloaded it, no
problems, nothing, easy, fast, simple, great. I went to fire it up and went through beautiful
Menu until I was prompted to update to version 1.01. Cool. I downloaded HTTP style and I
got to about 87% before My internet crapped out on me. Now, I'm in a world of hurt because
I cant get the update to download HTTP or torrent style. I'm pretty sure its because the
Konami servers are being flooded today with all the eager beta downloaders. I'll probably
just wait until later tonight, when things slow down to make another attempt, but if anyone
knows anything I don't, let me know. I've been trying to download the update since 11AM
yesterday. Any help or encouragement would be greatly appreciated, I'm going bats-shit
crazy over this. updating to 1.01 from 1.00 shouldn't be this damn hard. Konami has never
sucked until right now. The beta should have been hosted on the PSN.

The long wait is almost over. The next step, the biggest step, to playing MGO has arrived. Yo can now download
the beta via the Playstation Network. Just go enter your voucher code and download it! what are you waiting for,
hurry, go!! The beta is 741MB. Goddamn I'm excited.

I just finished trolling just about every blog site on the internets trying to dig up any info on
the surprise Konami has in store for all of us. Everyone seems to think it will be a demo of
MGS4, I find that highly unlikely, but not impossible. Some think it will be the release of
MGS on Playstation store, this I can agree with. Since Europe is supposed to get the new store
on the 15th and the good ol' U.S.A. is supposed to get it sometime in mid April, I'm willing to
bet that the the U.S. will see the store on the 14th. Why? Because Europe never gets anything
before us, except GTP. And just because EU has a release date set for their new store doesn't
mean they're getting it first. If the U.S. gets the store on the 14th I'm sure it'll be packed
with new content, possible the original MGS. But, it could be anything. Perhaps a limited
release of the Gunmetal PS3 here in America, the MGS4 demo or Kojima Productions branded
underwear for your girlfriend. Anything is possible. I'm really excited, but I'm not going to
look into this too much, I hate being let down. What do you think April 14th will bring?

Amazon has listed Metal Gear Online with a very photoshopped box art image.
It's the same picture that I have displayed on the right hand side this blog. The art is cool,
but you can really tell that it was cropped to fit the dimensions of the PS3 box.
I FINALLY got my Metal Gear Solid 4 pre-order DVD. I'll be participating in the beta, so if
anyone wants to join me in a few games once the beta launches, just send me your PSN
name. I play a lot of CoD4 too... So, yeah.

Amazon.com posted new images of the MGS4 PS3 bundle along with new box art for the
actual Metal Gear solid game. The Bundle is now shown in a white box with a DUALSHOCK 3
compatible logo. The game's box art now displays a more detailed image of Old Snake, as
opposed to the Yoji Shinkawa drawing featured on the previous box design. Although none of
these are official, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that the cover of Metal Gear Solid 4 will
feature the mug of Old snake.

I read another article claiming that ALL Gamestop and EB Games stores now have the highly
anticipated MGS4 pre-order DVDs. Even Gamestop has a banner in one of their ads claiming
the DVDs will only be available on the fourth(today) through the tenth(a while from now). But,
Seattle, where I live, hasn't been blessed with these sacred DVDs as of yet. So, I'm going to
make a pilgrimage down to Gamestop and EB Games to get the skinny on this delay. And, If
anybody knows something I don't know, please tell me. I'm starting to feel bad... I've been
hounding Gamestop every day for the last week. I kind of afraid to go down and ask them
myself. But its not my fault they don't know anything.
