Okay I just wanted to clarify Samit's real birthday(AGAIN)! Back before Samit became editor people kept bringing up the "Happy Birthday Samit!" joke, but when I made this post all the way back in 2007, nobody listened. Well, remember the link the next time you hear "Happy Birthday Samit" before jumping on the birthday wish bandwagon!
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Hi. You most likely know me as Eskimo bob, but you may also know me as Blue Badger, Victory or Reekes. through the years the name Eskimo bob has gotten increasingly popular and it is now used by many people on the internet who aren't blessed with a name to call their own. I'm born in 1993 (at the time of writing this I am turning 16), I live in Sweden and my main hobby is, naturally, video games. I got my first console some time when I was between the age of 4 and 6, but it is very hard to put a finger on exactly when. When I was young I went to my cousins place and either played or watched them play games on SNES, NES and N64. Many of these I have a really fond memory of such as Super Mario World, Yie-Ar Kung Fu, Track and Field and Duck Hunt.
While I don't have a definitive favorite genre I do have several that I just dislike. RPGs are an excellent example. I have never understood the appeal, especially not when it comes to the Final Fantasy series. The only RPGs that I enjoy playing are the ones made by Nintendo. I don't care what you think, I believe they are excellent. I used to really like RTSes, but over time that liking has shrunk to barely anything. I'm really hoping that Starcraft 2 can get me back into the match, however. My favorite developer overall is Capcom, closely followed by Valve. (I'm a PC gamer. I get patches for my games, he he.)
Also, while I try to use capitalization at the beginning of a sentence when I'm trying to write something fancy I ignore that otherwise as that is something clearly used only by the weak.

I'm too lazy to look up homoerotic birthday images on Google, though so you'll have to settle with not being yelled at for once.
...
naw, I'm just kidding. we all love you, Samit. we just don't like to show it.
