What is AMMO?

GTAIV Multiplayer Review - It's Short:DO READ

On XBOX Live I haven't made it into a one goddamn multiplayer game yet. Before completely blaming Microsoft's online service, I'm going to try flashing my router with DD-WRT. DD-WRT is suppoed to be a pretty cool guy, opens routers and doesn't afraid of anything.

GTA4 Multiplayer gets 0 out of 5 cups of room temperature coffee. Note: does not have sound

Don't take my word for it, even the greyest of bushes had some connection issues!

Note: The fix that worked for him was "nurse hangover", I tried that, didnt work on mine.

Is it Live or the GTA Servers? I have heard issues coming from the PSN side of things too, though I have yet to try.

I haven't played all the modes yet, but free mode is pretty much pure carnage. I had a pretty epic jousting match against another player. Except instead of using horses and lances, we were using cars and pistols.

I was having trouble the first night but I got on fine yesterday. I spent hours playing Cops and Crooks with balth and yojimbo.

I had a feeling that this game might have bitten off more then it could chew. I guess we'll see if this becomes a more noticeable problem among others.

I haven't even tried online yet. Mainly because I know I would play for far too long, and dammit I have to get up in the morning. I'll definitely be hitting it this weekend. Hopefully I won't run into any issues.

That sucks. I had problems this morning, so I just restarted my Xbox and it works fine. Multiplayer is fun though, especially playing with people you know.

I love the GTA IV multiplayer, it's awesome. That is all.

I haven't had any trouble getting online at all but I've heard rumblings of people who have. There are some epic times to be had when you do though. I was in a Team Car Jack City game where we had 4 or 5 people in a fire truck hunting down the other team. So fun.

I'd like GTA IV multiplayer a lot more if people stopped starting the games with hand guns. I'm not very good at running around getting upgrades, neither are many people who I have been playing with apparently, so I do not know why they don't just start with Uzi's or something. SOMETHING FULL-AUTO, PLEASE!

It's still fun, though.

I had trouble connecting also, until I changed this DMZ setting thing in my router that gives my 360 unrestricted internet access. Multiplayer works like a dream, now. :D

That kinda sucks, but when I get it I'm not even gonna touch multiplayer for at least the first week.
