Battletoads Double Dragon - Level 5 cover by Against Belief
AgainstBelief | 12:19 AM on 01.28.2009 7 comments

Here's a cover of a fantastic musical piece from the epic adventure of visuals and storytelling that is Battletoads Double Dragon. The song is of course Level 5. Enjoy.

Go to Freezecracker.com, join their forums, and find my thread full of covers like these!

Download the song here:

Hell I only played Battletoads on the SNES, like once. It was hard, F&*k hard..... My mates mate would like this music. I'll pass that note I just noted onto him.

catcha.

I approve of AgainstBelief's covers.

Or you could skip freezecracker and get anything here.

But eh... I dunno it's ok. Not totally awful. Good for "guy with a guitar on youtube" level of stuff. Try doing a little more than a straight cover sometime maybe? Throw in a badass solo or some variations or something?

I'm gonna call my gamestop right now and find out if they have any copies of battletoads!!! :D

@Wedge: I did throw in a solo, and I do usually have creative fun with my covers if I'm feeling up to it. The reason why I do a straight cover is to capture the essence and nostalgia of the song. My covers are pretty much salutes to those who have made them.

Also, thanks for the comments everybody!
