Someone's gonna call this a failblog and tell you to go to the forums, just letting ya know.
ANYWAY, that sucks but if you don't use it, no big loss eh?
Happens to the best of us. My Xbox has E74 (RODD) 5 times now and its still going ok but my bros E74 and died.
penis.
@Nanbu
I've already accepted the fact that I wrote solely fail blogs. I find something relevant to games, people already know about it from six months back after they snuck through the air ducts at Microsoft, slept with a secretary and while she was soundly asleep they snuck her keycard out and hacked into Bill Gate's personal MacBook to find exactly what I posted.
But yeah, not a huge loss but more of a pain anyways.
I've only had mine a year, but no RROD yet. Good luck on seeing if you can get yours taken care of.
Sorry to hear that, man. Go back and dig out some beloved classics to tide you over until it's fixed. I spent a considerable amount of time with the Dreamcast when my 360 RROD'd.
I had almost the same issue, except I know my window's live ID. I haven't played on my 360 in months, and once I decide to finally fire it up, E74.
I got some news for you though, when I tried getting in touch with MS support, they do not handle the RROD issues over the phone. They want us to sign up for the shipping box and label through their site, almost as if they just don't care anymore about personally addressing each of us.
The good news is, at least it takes half the time to get your xbox 360 back. I live in New York, I shipped mine about 3 weeks ago, got it back in almost 2 weeks. My first RROD was the day Halo 3 came out. Took almost a month for them to send it back to me. So it's pretty nice that it takes half the time to get back.
Despite me getting my xbox back, I couldn't remember why I fired it up in the first place, and just went back to my ps3.
