I'm writing a Final Fantasy VI musical!

After putting Scarf on the backburner for a short time, I've decided to do something else creative:

FINAL FANTASY VI: THE UNOFFICIAL MUSICAL!

This is a result of listening to Joseph, Avenue Q, and A Shoggoth on the Roof whilst playing FFVI. I've decided to plagiarize songs from other musicals, relyric them, and pass it off as a legitimate creative exercise.

I'm gonna have to cut some elements out to make it a reasonable length. Anyone have any advice?

Unless you are going for a Les Miserables 3-hour plus extravaganza, perhaps focusing on a specific character or a specific story arc might be a good direction.

Regardless, best of luck. Would definitely be interested to see the final result.

Ultros is the greatest Final Fantasy character of all time and if he's not in 9/10 scenes. It hasn't reached his potential.

I don't have any advice besides do whatever you can do that humanly possible and maybe some things that aren't to get Brian Clevinger to help in any way shape or form. 8-Bit Theater is the best moments of all time alll crammed together all at the same time! It's Awenderfantasmic! (I don't even know what words those are anymore)

1776 would be another good reference point- its crescendo is appropriately epic, and it's sung by the guy who played Mr. Feeny in Boy Meets World.

Also, put in lots of Setzer. Guy probably sees his life as one big musical anyway.
