I love video games. All systems, all consoles, all of them. You will just as soon see me playing a 1980's arcade game as you would the latest 360 release.

I love any and all horror games. I'm a horror fanatic.

I'm also a fighting game whore, especially 2-d fighters.

I enjoy playing old school games on emulators, and love finding old school games I've never heard of before.

Ok, this was just brought to my attention, and I don't think I've seen it on DToid yet. Capcom apparently has a new 3d fighting game in the works (no, not Street Fighter IV). It's called Fate / Unlimited Codes. The site is all in Japanese, which I can't read, so I really don't know much more about it. It looks as if it's based on an anime, but I'm not a huge anime fan so I don't recognize it.

If anyone can read Japanese, more information would be greatly appreciated.

(Edit:) Apparently it is based on the anime "Fate / Stay Night". More info is here: Fate / Stay Night wiki.

It looks pretty bad ass.

Im getting irritated with a lot of fighting games now. especially these "lol instant win button" combos they use now. back in my day all we had was a 2 hit combo! none of this fancy shmancy stuff!

Its a much needed revamp of the game Fatal Fake. This one is being officially done though. This is based off the originally VN, then anime, then manga, known as Fate/stay night. Only Japanese Arcade release at the moment(maybe some West Coast importers will bring a few over for arcades in the WC also). The TYPE-MOON fanbase is hoping for a PC release though so we can finally have a F/SN fighter to go along with Melty Blood which started in arcades and then was released for the PC. If they release it for PC, I guarantee netplay implementation will follow very quickly afterwards, if its not already in the package.
