Red Steel 2: The Quickening* announced!

An announcement deserving of Captain Obvious's apperance was made at a Cannes event today. Ubisoft has officially confirmed that Red Steel 2 is most definitely in development for Wii and will feature a completely reworked sword fighting system. Personally, this is excellent news, as I really got into the original but found the sword fighting mechanic to be a bit wonky (like Paris Hilton's eye). There's rumor of an online component being added, but this has not been confirmed. More information is expected to pop-up soon. How soon? Soon.
