Today's prompt is a day late, because I just got back from a really long work trip where I had almost no free time. It struck me, as I was touching back down in Los Angeles, that I spent almost the entirety of my six hours in the airport/on the plane playing games on my iPhone.
This week, I want you to tell me about your favorite mobile phone game. Why is it good, how did it hook you, and what makes it better than all the others?

Jonathan Ross is an Associate Editor in Los Angeles who is obsessed with capybaras. Like, seriously, obsessed. If he's not playing Team Fortress 2 or getting into arguments about why PC gaming is superior, he's either off having a fancy dinner with lots of expensive wine, or sitting on the Destructoid IRC complaining that's he's not off having a fancy dinner.

I love Super QuickHook (not as much as HookChamp though) - hate Hook Worlds (it's no different than the 1,000 other "endless runner games out there" - I'm glad Jetpack Joyride broke the mold), and Mage Gauntlet is fun (not a whole lot of that retro genre represented in iOS).
