Thanks to everyone for their participation in last week's topic! As you work on your blogs for our new topic for this week, the Freedom blogs will be promoted all throughout this week.
This week's topic relates to the Steam sale. How do you feel about digital distribution? Are you a fan, or do you have an issue with not owning physical copies of your games? Do you like being able to download games any time you want, or do you prefer being able to run out and grab a midnight release of the newest games? Write anything you wish for this topic, as long as it relates to digital distribution.
Well-written and insightful blogs have a chance of being promoted to the front page. If you want to participate, just write a C Blog, title it "Digital Distribution: [Your Blog's Title]", and select the Bloggers Wanted Essay Response tag. Throughout the week, keep an eye on the blogs and get some discussions going with your fellow Dtoiders.

Man, more than a handful is just wasteful. What, you a basketball player or something?
and yet no front pages which made me sad. some people wrote some really quality stuff this last go round.
The current state of console DD (psn/xbl/wii) is pitiful, and if that's the course they will stay then DD can go rot in hell.
I wasn't clear last week and I probably should have been. Front page promotions are going to happen the week following the assigned topic, so that everyone gets a chance to get their blog in and so I can go through the whole batch and pick out the ones to promote.
Freedom blogs will be promoted every day this week, Digital Distribution blogs will be promoted next week, and so on.

I was wondering how this Cblog of the week would take place with promotions, so this clarifies a lot. Hopefully nobody will get confused and start doing Freedom blogs again when it's Digital Distribution week.
We'll see what comes of this.
