By the way if you like, the CE is available for pre-order.

Also, if there were interoperability between console/PC version so that you could access your Battle.net account's characters on both, I'd definitely buy both versions!
TL;DR: PUNISH ME, VIDEOGAEMS! HARDER! HARDER!
Be ironic though, the thing without portability is free to play offline. The one with portability, nope stuff ya.
No offence, but after seeing what EA has done to Dragon Age for DA2. or what happened to crysis. What 2k is doing to XCOM. And the penny pinching franchise that has come from CoD and it's map packs(i remember when that stuff was paid for by nvidia). Or id with Rage or the two weapon system that has become so prevalent because it's easier to handle with a controller
You'd forgive me if i don't see multiplatform as an inherently positive advantage. Maybe i'm just a pessimist, but given the recent track records with companies making the jump or adjusting for the console audience it doesn't fill me with hope.
Not to mention the fact that if it wasn't all locked down and preventing mods and the like. We would have no need for blizzard to keep selling us expansion's down the track.
As a console gamer i was planning on upgrading my clapped out pc specifically for this game, now there is a hint of it coming to xbox (hopefully) i wont bother. My personal situation means the xbox is the better platform for games so I'm a happy bunny right now.
cheers for the heads up
I don't think anyone will actually squirm seeing that it's coming to consoles, Blizzard is a PC developer and will never forsake the PC platform and give us shitty ports, so who cares you get the inferior version. I actually like it when the roles are reversed for once....
