Quantcast

Above is just one of the many new areas to explore in Wrath of the Lich King, the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft. One of the things the art team is promising to do with Wrath is create immersive, jaw-dropping environments that will make anything the Burning Crusade had to offer look archaic in comparison. What do you think? Are they on the right track?

You still have plenty of time to quit before this shizzle comes out. May I recommend Guild Wars?

"This is the Tuskar starting area..."

Starting area?

I do have time to quit, but I don't want to quit and still keep paying teh subscription like I have before. It sucks, I think I'll just stick with it. Only in moderation. I'll be the recreational heroin user.

the concept art looks better than in-game graphics.

this game is really dated and its still a job rather than a game, anyway you look at it.

What about making the instance conform to how many people entering it? If it's one person, then it changes.

They dont have creative designers, thats why.

You should be able to experience end game content and story content solo rather than relying on immature n00berts.

concept art allways looks better than in-game graphics, dumbshit.

do you know what MMO stands for? Massively Multiplayer Online. As in, playing with other people, as opposed to single player.

Yay, another level cap raise that'll make Outland another area to level through and skip the dungeons, big clap for Blizzard on deciding to render another huge part of the game useless. And level 80, wow, if this carries on you'll have to leave your characters to the next of kin to finish leveling when you die of ald age.

Oh, a new class? Wow, that's going to be more months of total PvP upheavel while they fail over and over at balancing it with the others.

I'm starting to think Blizzard have shares in some of the upcoming competition and are trying to scare their user base off to them :p

Played for a couple years, but I've been WoW clean for almost half a year now (e-heroin)... While WoW is really fun, it's lacking a good PvP system. The "arena" is nothing more than smaller groups of the same, and the ONE measly battleground they gave us was just a combo of two old BGs.

Blizz can add and change all they want, but it's still the same game, with the same problems... There are a couple very good looking MMOs coming and I think Blizz is getting scared their "empire" might start to crumble... Not many games made in 2004 are still being played, WoW is starting to show it's age.

Personally I'm waiting for Warhammer, Mythic knows their stuff and have a crap-ton of development time invested into it.
