Blizzard has just pulled the curtain back on their lineup for Gamescom 2012. This year they'll be showing off the World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria with an opening cinematic and hands-on demo, as well as the multiplayer mode for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
You can also get your grubby mitts on the newly released Diablo III and experience the disappointment first hand in a live group setting, which is as close to LAN Diablo III as you're ever going to get. There will also be quizzes and trivia opportunities throughout the event, as well the annual costume and dance competition, an orchestra performing music from Blizzard franchises, a professional StarCraft II showmatch, developer signings, and more.
Gamescom 2012 will be held once again in Cologne, Germany, this year from August 16 to 19. More info is available at their official site.
