NIS America is bringing Bleach: Soul Resurreccion for the PlayStation 3 this August in the US and September in Europe. The Dynasty Warriors-like game sees you playing as 21 different Bleach characters battling demons.

I played the new game earlier today (on a giant movie screen theater!) and the game was fun. Controls were really simply and straightforward and the overall gameplay is pretty formulaic. Basically, move around, fight group of bad guys, move forward again, get trapped in a magical circle that won't disappear until you kill all enemies, move forward again and repeat.

What I really liked best were the cel-shaded graphics that make the game look like the actual Bleach anime. The game basically boils down to: Do you like the Bleach anime/manga and do you like Dynasty Warriors? If you said yes to both these questions then you should be good when Soul Resurreccion comes out later this year.
