BlazBlue is coming to the PSP photo

Arc System Works' newest brawler goes portable, or at least that's what Famitsu's fine print says.

There's no screens or scans or anything (yet), but we're sure they're coming. Famitsu does BlazBlue under the PSP section in the mag's contents, which means its a real thing that's really coming.

One thing's for sure, it won't be all sexy and high-resolution on the PSP. That's fine, though. Portability counts for something, doesn't it?

As Siliconera was saying, maybe they were jacking around with the Remote Play features of the PS3 version and thought that it might make a good stand-alone game. I think it will too.

Why?

Fighting games are alright on portables, but ONLY in lieu of a console version. And since BlazBlue is already awesome on multiple consoles, I don't see any reason for this at all.

I still have a PSP-1000. And we all know how shitty that D-pad is.....I don't see the reason either.

I guess they figured if GG made it on there, why not Blazblue?

I was never able to get into GG, so I really have no desire to give BB much of my attention. Putting it on the PSP isn't going to change that.

I've never felt compelled to buy Blazblue on my PS3 but the idea of having it portable does sound interesting.

FUCK YES! I will so buy this game again.

Also the game was unplayable vie remote play. I got lag of about half a second in the same room as the PS3!

The remote play mode for BlazBlue was a bust, but Guilty Gear Accent Core for the PSP was phenomenal. I had no problems entering commands, and local multiplayer was perfect.

Siliconera rocks!

As for BB, I'll wait for a DS release.

YESSSS! This is probably the best gaming-related news I've heard all year. Can't wait for this to be 100% confirmed.

I would say this was a good idea, but my PSP-1001 has an annoying ghosting problem and the face buttons aren't working that well anymore because of DJ Max Portable. So I will stick with the PS3 version for right now, it looks to good in HD to give it up.

I love playing BlazBlue on remote play, and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus on PSP is pretty awesome, even if it the controls arent so great on my 1000.

Will it be the updated Continuum Shift, or the original?

Dude, this is so sick! Never bought it on the consoles but I was planning on it eventually. This is even better, though!

I wish I was better at fighting games. I suck so bad that I have a hard time enjoying them. But I WANT to like them so badly! If anybody has any advice or games to recommend, let me know!

Nice one, Ark, but I'd rather have a PSP conversion of your awesome Fist of the North Star PS2 game, that was never released in the west.

Better still get it on Live and PSN, too.

I played this on remote play a few times. It made me wish I could use an arcade
stick on my psp.
I'd still like a portable version.

@ Tricerabtion: Don't worry, we're gettingthat special edition of the original game!

Next year, in which Japan and America will likely see the sequel come to home consoles.

I'm going to go cry over here.

I simply cannot express my happiness towards this announcement. I was having a fucking awful day at work until I saw this. This....has made my day, possibly my next weeks.

I will practice tao's combos anywhere >__<

Perfect. I was really interested in this game, but don't have a PS3 or 360. And PSP's D Pad is pretty nice for this sort of thing. Pulling off Hadoukens in MMX never felt so good, at least.
