BlazBlue coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 photo

Arc System Works (Guilty Gear) knows what's up. People have to practice at home, right? Their latest jaw-droppingly beautiful 2D fighter is the talk of the fighting game world, and soon that talk will extend into our homes.

The latest issue of Famitsu reports that BlazBlue is coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3. We all could have probably guessed that, but now we have a rough date for Japanese release: summer. 

The home version will see a new story mode, complete with voice for all characters. Famed animation studio Gonzo is even doing the animations for these! Also, now all characters get Astral Heat moves. In all, there's 30 hours of playtime expected.

IGN says that there is also network play to be included. Oh, and downloadable content, too. Here's hoping for a U.S. release date soon.

I may shell out the money for an arcade stick, SFIV wasn't enough for me to buy one, but this may push me to it. It looks so awesome.

I played this a bit. It was actually more fun than I thought, and the closest I have come to beating Tactix at a round of any fighting game. I would pick it up at around $40. (No fighting game is worth more than that people!)

Fantastic! I was just lamenting having never been able to play this in today's earlier article about that tournament that is featuring the game.
This is a definite buy for me. I love Arc System's style.
When you add this announcement up with the July release date for King of Fighters 12, the value of my Street Fighter 4 TE stick just muliplied. I knew the investment would pay off one day!

Also is this no longer a downloadable title then? Since that's what it was announced as for PS3 ages ago. That'd be nice if it was, since it'd cap out at $20 I'm sure.

Im pretty sure Gonzo either got absorbed or shut down not too long ago, kind of unfortunate. But at the same time that means no more terrible animes from them, aside from Blassreiter... that was actually good.
