I saw this in the $9.99 bin already. I was gonna grab it, but then I decided to try the demo again.

Played the demo on the 360 and the game is fucking atrocious. Get a gun from a chest and the gun is utterly useless for killing anything compared to the rifle you start with.. Thats all I even bothered to remember from it, I don't even think I finished it because I got sick of getting ridiculously creamed for no reason in one room -- and this was only a week ago...
PC release was a bomb. Demo didn't even want to download, had to contact support and do cumbersome stuff to get DLC to work. Amongst other issues.
PC version is like taking off the giant blur filter in terms of gfx. Otherwise game is exactly the same.

This one is still in my Amazon Cart, sitting there rather boldly at $39.99 without a smidgeon of a sale ever. Will keep an eye on the PC release. Thx for the update.

There's already a Limited Edition out for it on Steam with just the Dismal Swamp DLC as an extra. This is just... weird. I wonder how many they expect to sell.
Has anyone played it on PC? The screenshots look freaking gorgeous. If the gameplay is at least solid I'll probably give it a go when the price drops. The 3rd person action genre is less saturated on PC than console, so I'm inclined to be more forgiving.
Oh snap there's a PC demo. Based on what people are saying on the Steam forums it's a solid enough game, probably not deserving the vitriol people are laying on it here. It's hardly the developers fault how the publisher has mishandled promotion and distribution.
I bet Jim cannot wait to download this Limited Edition version from Steam and give us his engaging thoughts on it??! That way he can give us the full details on how possibly exciting or unexciting the new DLC campaign is; along with fresh screen captures of Ayumi in her Summer and schoolgirl costumes.
Got this on Steam a few days back; not the best game in the world, but I love how honest it is in terms of being a straight-up, early-PS2-style hack-n-slash title. A neat little game at a great price.
So the original release wasn't limited enough? Are there going to be like, a dozen copies of this produced?
