Zombie Studios' futuristic military first-person shooter, BlackLight: Tango Down, is coming to Xbox LIVE this summer. And by this summer, I mean tomorrow, July 7. (Surprise!)
The developer is claiming a "AAA" multiplayer game experiencing, aiming for "retail quality" in the downloadable space for a bargain price of 1200 MS Points. BlackLight will ship with 12 maps, seven game types, four cooperative missions, and will feature a weapon customization system that supposedly allows for trillions of combinations.
While it's only hitting Xbox 360 tomorrow, Zombie says the game is scheduled to hit PlayStation Network and PC in the "coming weeks."

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I believe demos are a requirement for XBLA games?
@malfegor. This seems more arcadey to me but the weapon customisation seemed yore in-depth and has real performance altering aspects. I wouldn't compare the two just yet.
If this doesn't live up to expectations on the 360 tomorrow it won't sell well on the PC or PSN when they finally release.
Damn, son!
