Blacklight Retribution beta gets a new map/trailer
There are a lot of free-to-play FPS on the market. Seriously, there are tons. Like, you could throw a stone out into the wilds of the internet and odds are, if it doesn't hit porn, it'll hit a f2p shooter. Regardless, developer Zombie Studios has teamed up with MMO developer Perfect World and given birth to Blacklight: Retribution and has begun its closed beta testing. Adrift in this sea of shooters, it doesn't help that Retribution is sequel of sorts to 2010's Blacklight: Tango Down which, while I'm sure it has it's fans, was not received particularly well. I try not to judge a game by it's predecessor when I can help it, so I'll be giving the beta its fair shake. If you're already playing the beta, the trailer above shows off the title's new map, Containment. But.... Firefall. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Actually the closed beta ended some time ago and it's now an open beta. It's potential game but it has some crashing issues and huge FPS drops every now and then. I think this game has been really fun, for free its pretty freaking nice, production value is really high and maps are great, gunplay is great its worht the try. I have enjoyed this game for the last week or so.
