There are a lot of free-to-play FPS on the market. Seriously, there are tons. Like, you could throw a stone out into the wilds of the internet and odds are, if it doesn't hit porn, it'll hit a f2p shooter. Regardless, developer Zombie Studios has teamed up with MMO developer Perfect World and given birth to Blacklight: Retribution and has begun its closed beta testing.
Adrift in this sea of shooters, it doesn't help that Retribution is sequel of sorts to 2010's Blacklight: Tango Down which, while I'm sure it has it's fans, was not received particularly well. I try not to judge a game by it's predecessor when I can help it, so I'll be giving the beta its fair shake. If you're already playing the beta, the trailer above shows off the title's new map, Containment.
