Well, here we are two weeks away from Black Friday itself. Pretty soon every retailer in existence will once again be vying for your post-Turkey Day attention with unheard of prices on pretty much everything. Walmart has gotten the ball rolling by already putting its Black Friday ad online. The deals start at 10:00pm on Thursday November 24th and go all day through Friday, Nov. 25th.
Walmart usually has some of the better deals in its gaming section and this year already appears to be no different. For $28 each, you can nab Batman: Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, and Forza Motorsport 4. They're also selling the Golden WiiMote Skyward Sword bundle for $60, saving you $10.
Walmart is also pulling out all the stops in the console department. $99 gets you a limited-edition blue Wii, whereas $199 covers a 4 GB Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle with Kinect Adventures, including a $50 gift card, or a 160 GB PlayStation 3 bundled with Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and LittleBigPlanet 2. Yeah, it's going to take a lot to top a list like that.

lol go fuck yourself walmart you stupid idiot
Going anywhere that Friday is a scary thought, anyway in all seriousness it best for us gamer to stick to amazon, I'm sure they'll have some amazing video game sales.
Not to sound like a fanboy twat but the ps3 deal is way better, 4gigs?
COME ON
Here it is http://www.destructoid.com/black-friday-your-guide-to-the-best-deals-update--188208.phtml
I guess more than a year has passed now since I've been on Dtoid
I'm surrounded by crazy people.
I'M GONNA DO IT, GUYS.
Whole ad can be found here
First of all, its not nearly as bad as the news outlets lead you to believe. My wife and I have gone shopping the past 5 years, and never once didnt get what we went for, had to wait in line for more than an hour, or have gotten trampled by the masses. Even checkout is pretty lax once managers do their fucking job and funnel people to the correct registers.
Also, the craziness of this years black friday sales is that a lot of them (most of them) are starting at 12midnight, so its not even like you need to wait in line at 4am, you can just go see a movie thanksgiving night, and start shopping. Muppets is coming out you know.
And another good thing, is they get specific stock for blackfriday... so unless you are getting wii games (which sell out in seconds) you can just mosey on in and pick up what you want.
The big thing I might purchase this year is the 65" 1080p LGTV for $998. SIXTYFIVE INCHES.
@Martian Martel
Probably, but that wouldn't be Walmart in the picture -looks like Target or K-Mart (they both wear red polo's I think)
@Free Touch
Not only have I shopped on Black Friday, but I'll go one better and tell you I've worked in a VERY high traffic Mall (on average over the course of a year) on Black Friday.
It never gets as bad as the News says it does, I'll agree with that, but it doesn't stop people from being complete dicks to each other -which is awesome set to the blaring sounds of Christmas over a mall sound system. Peace on Earth set to war in the isles -its almost like the ad campaign for Gears 3
Only problem with "Also, the craziness of this years black friday sales is that a lot of them (most of them) are starting at 12midnight, so its not even like you need to wait in line at 4am," is that starting shopping any later then 12 midnight is probably going to mean you're going to not find those deals on high profile items come 4am -which is kind of the setback, I guess.
I agree but then we have 1 less person trampled to death over savings
but still those are the greatest deals I have ever seen especially the Ps3 bundle :( I got mine for 300 last christmas with Bioshock 2, LBP and an extra controller so it wasn;t that bad of a deal.
