Black Friday and all its horror will soon be upon us, and the Internet has gotten its talons on GameStop's list of ludicrous offers. The list is absolutely huge, some great bundles such as a PS3 with God of War: Collection and LittleBigPlanet for $299, and tens of dollars to be saved on all sorts of games.
While we're here, how many of you are planning to venture out and brave the crowds of braying imbeciles next week? Is the lure of cheap stuff you've never needed enough to make you part of the dignity-sucking problem, or are you going to be like me and hide under a pile of coats until it all goes away?
While you answer, hit the jump for the list of GameStop chicanery.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
lol
Someone stole my SMG so I might do this.
As for this, DW6 for 20 + tax MIGHT be just what I needed to be convinced for it. Otherwise, I may just rummage around to see if there's anything OH EXPLOITABLE from that Buy 2, Get 1 Free deal, or just head to a Play N' Trade.
"You lost it, you swim in the swarm of sweaty soccer moms!"
Actually, what I had in mind is to have her wait outside in line with me. She hates the cold. I don't. This is going to be fun.
At 3 in the morning? Around here, I'd be surprised if anyone even knows, or cares.
I need tips from you on how to be an ultra massive douche bag.
@Adam T: Awesome, good intel.
That could be said for the whole system, not just this ad.
I worked at WalMart. Confused? I worked Deli.
You know what people arent buying when there are 900 dollar TVs for 800 dollars and useless electronics to consume? Roast beef and mozzarella. I got paid, extra, to stand around and do nothing for 8 and a half hours. Not even management comes by, they're too busy feeding the ravening hordes' hunger for consumer electronics.
Last year to alleviate boredom I played hangman for about 3 hours and created a new religion based on a giant origami cat head with marker-drawn good/evil faces on either side.
Fear the MakormiCat, for he will nom your SOUL!
Blessed is HappyAsianCat, for he will nom your soul(in a good way!).
I get easily annoyed by Gamestop's jackoff customers even on the most nondescript days. Just today, I went to browse through the used DS games and I got treated to some 13-year-old pitching a ridiculous fit when his mom refused to let him get Modern Warfare II (everything screeched to a halt when the Gamestop employee notified the woman of the M for Mature rating). The thought of being there before dawn with a bunch of disgusting consumer-trash who are foaming at the mouth to spend their first day off in weeks standing in lines and spreading the swine flu makes me want to retch. The only thing appealing to me about that whole list is the Buy 2 Get 1 deal for used games, which I've taken advantage of countless times. I'll probably wait until the Saturday or Sunday for that though.
I hear that!
@ Caostotale
Re: the employee notifying the woman of the rating: As said employee very well should have. That's not the only parent I've seen that, once informed of what the ratings meant, actually paid attention to what it meant instead of simply using the "my kids see it all the time" excuse.
