BK drops game prices to 99 cents; your arteries shudder as you approach photo

Just when you thought the King's game collection couldn't get any cheaper than $4 ... the games become cheaper than their burgers. You can now get Pocketbike Racer, Sneak King, and the bumper car one that nobody likes for the sum of one Washington when you buy any of their life expectancy altering combos. A dollar for an Xbox 360 game is insane. You can't even buy a good NES game out of a bargain bin at EB (or a bottle of water, the earth's most abundant resource) for that price! Yeah, these games will not stand the test of time, there are much worse games on XBLA priced for so much more. In terms of bang for your buck, has it ever been any better than this?

I was in a thrift store yesterday and they had a used copy of Sneak King for 6.50. When I asked if they knew how much this game was originally at retail, the lady behind the counter said it was a 50 dollar game.

Pretty sure on the box it says 3.99, gotta love idiots.

I thought about it Nex, but they wised up to that at some point, because I opened the case to see there was no game inside. If it were I would have used my five finger discount in a heartbeat.

Can anyone verify if there's Achievements to be unlocked in these games? Albeit even if it's like, a total of 10 points??

Yeah there are SP420, they're like the ones on XBLA games, up to about 200 points.

99 cents? That was the price they offered the games to their employees when the games first came out. Hey don't forget to include the tax in the total price!

I bought Sneak King because I thought it would be worth the creepiness entertainment value. It is creepy, but I got tired of playing it within 2 minutes.

I think they're not trying to sell them off at all, seeing the success they've already accumulated, they want to sell more copies than any other 360 game. Seeing as this is essentially marketing, they've probably already turned over more of a profit than they ever thought they would, now they want to expand as far as possible. I can pretty much guarentee these won't ever be valuable, though. Over 3 million copies already sold means way too common to be collectible.

Since I'm away at college, I called my mom to have her pick up a copy of each of the games for me. It turns out this is only at some locations, and the one she went to was still selling them for $4, so I only had her get Sneak King for me. Boo BK!
