PAX Prime's Indie MEGABOOTH will have more than 80 games

11:30 AM on 08.15.2013

The Indie MEGABOOTH just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Topping PAX Prime 2012's 30 games and PAX East 2013's 62 games, the booth at PAX Prime 2013 will feature at least 84 different titles from more than 60 studios and will be the largest single booth at the show.

Even with four days to play this year, it seems unlikely that anybody but the most devoted indie fan will get to experience all of the games at the booth. I'm trying to decide if I can keep up a schedule of playing at least 21 of the games each day for a sufficient amount of time, while also making room in my schedule to pester Vlambeer about bringing Ridiculous Fishing to Android.

Some of the notable games that will be present are shown in the trailer above, and the full list is up at Indie MEGABOOTH's official website.

All the Octodad: Dadliest Catch ties and their locations

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a pretty great game for those who take the time to re-learn how to walk. One of the neat extra features are hidden neckties throughout the game. In each level (except for "Shark Naked"), three ties ...more

Review: Octodad: Dadliest Catch

An interesting exercise in game design is to identify assumptions about the genre or medium in general, then question those assumptions. One such assumption that most make is that control should feel natural and unobtrusive a...more

Get hitched in Octodad: Dadliest Catch

Octodad: Dadliest Catch had a wonderful showing at PAX Prime 2013. I went in with modest expectations coming off of the admittedly rough-around-the-edges first game and this follow-up ended up being among my favorite games o...more

Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake is not as simple as it looks

Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake saw success on Kickstarter, and it's coming along nicely as evidence by our interview at PAX East. It looks super cute and simplistic, but there's way more depth than you'd imagine here. A deep ...more

The Darkest Dungeon gods were kind to me
