Bit.Trip Core's release date revealed, also Michael Jackson photo

Those sexy bastards at Gaijin Games excel at cryptic blogs. When you actually talk to them face to face, they are extremely straightforward, articulate, and insightful, but when they start blogging about their games, they just love to tease.

Yesterday, they posted the above image on their official site, with the monosyllabic title "CORE" along with it. From that, I think we can guess that Bit.Trip Core will be released on WiiWare on July 6th, and that it will be the 100th WiiWare game. Awesome news. After playing the game at E3, I've been racked by suspense, wondering if I would end up loving Core more, less, or the same as Bit.Trip Beat. Looks like it wont be long before I find out.

Also, they just whipped up a tribute to Michael Jackson, and it's quite classy. Check it out in the gallery.

So I have about two weeks to beat "Growth".

Well I've already failed four times today. Here goes for five...

@ Cad- Growth is evil incarnate, but it's a lot less impossible with a capable friend.

@ Dexter- You masher!

Actually, July 6th, probably, since that's a Monday and it reads 7 [July] + 6[th]+ [200] 9 . or did you just mistype?

What Daedhead said. (that sounded way to much like Right Said Fred, brrrr scary!)

I will play Thriller on vinyl now.

@Lemon

@ Commander Video
Thanks, I'll keep trying. I'm really excited for Core.

@ Jonathan Holmes
I've beat the game on multiplayer but I don't consider that actually beating it as it makes the game ridiculously easy. I want to know I can achieve the great feat by myself.

I also have Wii Speak if you'd like to play the Conduit with me. I just don't have my hands on the game yet as my roommate just mailed it to me from California because I'm in the UK for the summer. Amazon wanted 50 dollars in shipping to pre-order a US copy of the game and send it here. Ridiculous.
