Ten episodes. That's how many it took for me to get one up late. The week after E3 was not the best time to attempt getting a show together. We've learned a valuable lesson today.
Episode 10 features Ed McMillen of Team Meat. We talk about Super Meat Boy, Hitler and the dangers of being multiplatform in a fanboy world. It's a pretty good time. You should invite your friends.
Oh, and we're doing a little something special to celebrate our tenth episode of the show. Hit the jump for this episode's show notes and additional information

Bit Transmission forum and download Bit Transmission Sprite Pack #1, a collection of the sprites used to represent the cast and some of our guests in the art which accompanies each episode of the show. Now, if only you had a good reason to play with sprites.
How about this? The folks who make the three best images created using the Sprite Pack (as determined by the cast of Bit Transmission) will each get a surprise prize pack. It could be Sea Monkeys, it could be games, it could be pretty much anything really.
Head over to the forums to get more details on the contest!

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
The only real issue I have is that every couple weeks, we're asked to post questions but yet, no questions are responded to (and I've been listening from the start; maybe I'm misremembering but I don't think so).
If there just haven't been any decent questions, I understand but are there really none worthy of the show?
I guess people like to have the attention of hearing one of you say "So-and-so asks...". Essentially, it's fame-whoring, but one could argue that referencing listeners helps increase the connection between the podcast and the audience (of course, that isn't too much of an issue for Bit Transmission). Though, to be fair, I'll admit that I too like it when I hear my name on a podcast.
So what's with the huge NMH2 essays then? ;P
Great podcast. Really like the guy.
If Suda 51 wrote "artists statements" about what the NMH games mean, it would be redundant. If he made his games right, he shouldn't have to explain to me what they're supposed to make me think and feel.
Over-explaining also ruins the fun. Trying to interpret the art of others can do a lot to help you understand the artist, the world around you, and yourself. With art interpretation, it's not the destination, it's the trip.
I think Edmund is all for us thinking about his games and writing about them. He just doesn't want to go out and explain what ever little aspect of them. He also doesn't want us to know if he's a vegitarian or not.
Mysterious!
Ok cool. Thanks for the explanation.
@Guncannon
Eh, I wasn't looking for shout outs, honestly. Thinking about it more, reader questions only really make sense for these developer episodes, assuming there are good questions. Attribution isn't even necessary.
I kind of dig that you sometimes don't break it out into "so and so asks" for the questions. While the "shout out" thrill is cool, I like how the podcast flows without it.
Also, I really appreciate you putting the download link in the post rather than making me click-through to the libsyn page. <3
