I really dig the produced, audio journal style on this. Very classy and refreshingly structured.
Also, very nice balance of content so far. Which isn't surprising considering the general full-spectrum game appreciation that you three are all about.

A Podtoid and a brand new Podcast with some of the most awesomesauceest Destructoid editors. Today is a good day to do some procrastinating! Might mess about in Infamous while giving this a listen; it'll take me back to those days of bliss where I'd sit in the kitchen cooking food/wasting time while listening to Retroforce, removing myself from the stresses of work and the real world. Good times!
Also, I hate to make myself another one to say it, but someone really needs to stop whatever Chad is doing with his life nowadays and give him some air time again. Seriously, just lock him in a room with Skype turned on and make him say things! I'm sure it would make a lot of people round here happy :)

But why is RFGO not coming back? I thought they were just taking a hiatus? And what happened to Dyson?

For those wondering about RFGO, Topher mentioned on the forums that it's not coming back. Everyone's just been pulled away by real life (Dyson, Chad)/ working on other things on the site/network. 100 episodes talking about old stuff though is pretty good.
I still have to listen to the last 15 or something, personally. Took a break from it for whatever reason, and was trying to catch up but failed. Not a hardcore podcast kinda guy, but RFGO was the one I made time to listen to.... especially back when I was winning 3 contests a show or something like that.
Will definitely be giving this a listen! A preemptive "Great job!" to all of you.

Congrats on the new podcast,as it seems successful enough for us.The thing that still bothers me,is that I miss the power of Retroforce for nearly 5 months.Oh god is that long.I miss Chad,Dyson and Stella..................

Good conversation, especially the mascot section, but I felt it ended kind of abruptly. Could be I'm just used to the meandering of Podtoid, though. Looking forward to more.

Hope you're wrong/misinterpreting Topher's cryptic postings. Yeah,100 epidsodes is a lot of time dedicated to "old stuff" but, there are still many consoles and many topics to be mulled over...where's my episdoe on the Sega Master System 3D glasses? oR Colecovision? the simple truth of the matter is that listening to ruminations on classic gaming is more interesting (to me at least) than hearing jim make jokes about wanking and then Anthony over-intellectualizing Bioshock II for 1:30. Also, unlike all the cynical imagined coolness of most, if not all, gaming podcasts RFGO had a great dynamic of likeable personalities interacting with one another.

I really dig this, but if I had to name one thing that bothered me a little, it's like Tron said, I wasn't too big on the transitions. Aside from that, everything else is great.

Good show. I must admit I missed this post entirely and only saw it come though on my olde RetroForceGo feed, which was a show I loved and will have a place in my retro heart, but I dig this too. I look forward further installments.
Just like to say, thanks for putting this in the old RFG iTunes feed that I still follow, otherwise I probably never would've noticed it! Bang up job in the first show. Looking forward to more.
