As the gradual descent into the holiday season becomes more and more inevitable, game studios beginning to shut down their operations in favor of rest, relaxation, and end of the year festivities. After all, why reveal anything too ground-breaking when no one's paying attention anyway? Anyone hoping Mass Effect might break this mold is sorely mistaken.
Aaryn Flynn, the GM of BioWare, has tweeted that he hopes the studio will be able to share more information about the next Mass Effect installment in 2014, adding "that's the most specific I can be." BioWare's been teasing this next title for quite a while, so hopefully the new year will at least bring about a proper reveal.
Of course, it's not like BioWare's sitting around doing nothing. It's (presumably) hard at work on Dragon Age: Inquisition, as well as a new IP and possibly a Star Wars game. Hopefully it makes time soon for its pals in the Mass Effect universe.
There are new details on Mass Effect 4, but all anyone cares about is the damn Mako
