BioShock PS3 DLC to be released November 20 photo

The wait for exclusive downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 version of BioShock will not be that long after all. According to 2K Games, “Challenge Rooms” will be up for download on November 20.

If you’re like me and scratching your head – don’t worry. According to Wired, Challenge Rooms are specific puzzle areas that will have players working against a timer to complete certain tasks with skills learned in the game. Think hacking, except fun.

This content has been promised for a bit, but it’s easy to forget these things when watching the trailer at the end of the game. The price of the DLC is unknown, but a good slave will download the content regardless of price. Hopefully after this bit of DLC, 2K will get to the really good stuff like the zoo portion we keep hearing about.

I can't believe there's no mention as to why we're not getting this on PC and 360.

:(

That's what we get for jumping on giving the game the popularity to release on another system? Nothing?

I hope you take your slap back soon enough, Take Two.

I was hoping the PS3 version would have a multi-player mode.

And Virtua Fighter 5 was released on PS3 first with no online play, and then when the 360 version came out they got online play and PS3 got nothing. So it's not like 360 owners don't get their share of exclusive content. It's only fair that PS3 should get something every once in a while.

They can grab this game and shove it up back up u know where. I hate when companies release a game first on one console, then a year later, after you already heard the story, seen the gameplay/ending in youtube, then they release it on another console.

Either go multi-console from start or just keep it exclusive to a console. Another good example is Ninja Gaiden, what a cluster-f???? of a story when they release different versions of it on different consoles.

Awww I thought all the extras for the PS3 port they were talking about were going to be included for free. So basically it's just the 360 version a year later...with Survivor mode -__-

Yeah, I'll still be buying it since I'm a whore.

the zoo thing sounds interesting but despite the fact that this was my favorite game of 07, the challenge room descriptions arent doing it for. Maybe the idea doesn't suck and its just the way its being described that sucks. Guess we'll know come Nov.

However, this is a game that shouldn't be missed so its cool they're opening open their audience

The Zoo segment is DLC? I thought it was in the game.

I never got in to speed runs and timer challenges. Waste of time IMO.

If there was actual new content, I might be interested.
