A special treat was promised this Sunday and a special treat was delivered. Although somewhat obvious since it was rumored beforehand, it's still nice to know that those of us eagerly awaiting BioShock with excited trembling can now download a demo from Xbox Live -- right now! Yes, while 90% of the readers have just abandoned this post to go giggle like girls and fire up their consoles, the rest of you can watch the latest trailer for 2K's ridiculously sweet looking first person romp.
There's little more for me to say other than I love the latest commercial. Absolutely ripping stuff and hopefully the demo matches. Now go, download, play and share your thoughts with the rest of the Destructoid community.

I was sitting with my e-mail browser open and had the message already started; I think I sent the announcement + trailer to you like a minute after it showed and started downloading the demo a minute after that.
That trailer is so awesome, I think it should win an award or something. Seriously, Bioshock has great friggin' trailers, I'd buy a special edition just so I can have them on some extra features DVD.
Oh god. How could I want this game any more than I do now? I'm just annoyed that the game will be bought and sit on my shelf until the new 65nm 360 comes out.
For real. It was awesome seeing so many people log in the space of a few minutes. Some of em seemed to be having issues though because they kept logging back in over-and-over.
That...trailer...was the MOST epic fucking trailer I have ever seen for any game. My friend is over right now and we are downloading the demo as I type...hot sex YES!

I see how it is Microsoft. No love for us PC gamers, those of us you built your empire on... no just give all the goodies to the XBOXers out there that haven't red ringed yet, lord know they need something to keep them from ripping your throat out.
this is a top notch interactive entertainment experience. My mom told me she ate hash brownies as a teen today... My mom would totally play Bioshock with me.

It didn't even appear on XBL until I hit the demos page a second time. I don't think many people have it yet.
Um, don't play the demo if you don't want to risk anything getting spoiled man. Demos are to show you gameplay.
I would think you'd be safe though from any major plot developments.
