Bioshock delayed, gets release date photo

OK y'all it's time for a little bit of bad news and good news, courtesy of CVG. First, the bad news: Bioshock is being delayed -- it was supposed to come out in June for the Xbox 360 and PC (not the PS3). Yes, yes, I know, it hurts me too.

Now, the good news: Bioshock has a solid release date of August 21 in North America and August 24 in the U.K.

There, see, that wasn't too bad was it? Good thing is, they set a date that is most likely a month or two before Halo 3 comes out. That's something you don't want to launch next to, which I'm sure Irrational Games and Microsoft are well aware of.

Fortified is a fun 1950s sci-fi take on base defense

Leading up to PAX Prime, Clapfoot released a trailer for its base defense shooter Fortified. It caught my eye for a few reasons, notably the '50s sci-fi movie theme and its general resemblance to Double Fine's Iron Brigade (f...more
