BioShock and Oblivion bundled together in one package photo

Two high-profile games are being bundled together in one package for Xbox 360 and PC, thanks to 2K Games and Bethesda.

Both Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and BioShock will come together to hit retail shelves starting July 7th. The Xbox 360 version will cost $39.99. The bundle will also be released for PC for an even better price: $29.99. Notice the lack of a PS3 version listing? Bethesda told Destructoid that there will be no PS3 version.

Here's the word from Bethesda's Pete Hines:

No PS3. Just PC and 360. Recall that we co-published the PC and 360 versions with 2K, but not the PS3 version. We published that ourselves here and with Ubi in Europe.

So it's a publishing related thing. Makes sense. Anyway, that's $15-20 a piece for two really fantastic games. I think that most of us already have these titles, but for those that don't, what a bargain!

I wonder if Big Daddies can wear horse armor now.

Damnit, I have Oblivion for the PC and Bioshock for the 360, but I'd easily be willing to buy both for the other platform, especially at that price. Oh wells...

Shit, I already own BioShock, but I would be all over this if I didn't. Good deal for those who don't already own these games (What the fuck is wrong with you?).

That's a pretty good especially if you can get it at a bargain price. That's like a super sale?

Well, I got Bioshock for the PC months ago for $20, and Oblivion GOTY edition just came out on Steam on sale for $16. So I guess this is a decent package if you somehow don't have either game.

uhh...well thats one hell of an odd couple. Props to 2K for the deal on two great games, but seriously, these games couldn't be much more diametrically opposed.

That's a weird combination. Next they should bundle Killzone with Deadspace, so people will realize they have the exact same name.

Eh, not that big of a deal for PS3 owners really. You can buy them both used for much cheaper.

I love the fact that he kept saying NOT for PS3 no PS3 haha

Don't really mind, I've played both. Bioshock was nice but I've never understood what the big deal was about Elder Scrolls...
