Whenever we introduce BioShock 2 in a post, get ready to read BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams again. Previous reports of 2K stripping the catchy subtitle from the upcoming underwater adventure are false, according to Eurogamer.
Unfortunately, there’s not a snazzy quote. A 2K Games representative simply told Eurogamer that the subtitle was not pulled. (IGN originally reported it was killed due to “a number of inquiries today regarding the official naming convention.”)
I’m a big fan of the “Sea of Dreams” bit -- it’s a hip tagline that tickles the imagination. Since the tagline is back on, and we got some awesome comments, I’ll ask what Colette did in her name-stripping report. Does a name change mean anything to you? Are you glad “Sea of Dreams” is back?
