Bionic Commando: Rearmed is cheaper now, we promise photo

Microsoft’s Deal of the Week (for real this time) is Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Starting today through the rest of the week, the 2008 Xbox LIVE Arcade title is available for 400 Microsoft Points instead of the usual 800 MP.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed, developed by GRIN -- the studio behind Weapons of Fate and, of course, the current generation Bionic Commando -- is an interesting update to the NES classic that features new graphics and plenty of new features.

It also shows a dude’s head exploding.

Despite the misfire last week (Major Nelson was a week ahead of himself), I believe this to be a relevant Deal of the Week. Are any of you currently playing through Bionic Commando thinking about checking out Capcom and GRIN’s update?

I was just playing this game today. Such a sick update to a classic!
I'm almost afraid to buy the new Bionic Commando. Almost. The reviews have been so mixed. Hmmm.
After E3 I'm going to take the plunge.
Capcom rarely lets me down.

One more thing to add, does anyone know when the PSN version is going to get patched?
It has a bastard bug that deletes your save file, during play in the challenge rooms. It's absurd this hasn't been fixed yet.
Come on, Capcom/Grin!
I'm scared to play the challenge rooms, in fear of deleting my progress.
Lame.
Also, trophies.

Great deal! I already had it on PS3, but at 400 points I had to get it again, also the promise of achievements and the retro skin, it's impossible to say no.

I didn't buy this originally since I suck completely at games I can't jump in...but I'm so happy I bought this since there is an easy mode. also I now officially hate the d-pad on the 360 controller. I might have to buy the street fighter controller for games like these.

I played the trial when this first came out and never bought it. At this price I just can't refuse.

Definitely bought it now... and it certainly bring back the charm this game had in my youth. They even added some rather nice, even if quirky little features! :D At this price, it's impossible to pass up!
