Bionic Commando: demo hack and multiplayer video photo

Bionic Commando demo time limit got you down? Now there's a work-around that lets you invite your friends into a match, create a private match, change time limit to your liking, and even just explore on your own. Here's how you do it:

  1. Go to the main screen and hit start. Stay in that screen.
  2. Get a friend to send you a game invite, any game will do
  3. Accept that invite, and when it asks you to exit your game, say NO
  4. You can now select private matches and invite friends
Note that some options may crash the demo. You have Toshin's Capcom Unity blog to thank for this hack.

After the jump you'll find a video showing off the multiplayer demo of Bionic Commando. That introduction with the arm is pretty damned slick, as is the footage at the end (see image from above). Oh, and the gaming action itself looks great too.

Awesome!

I love this game's multiplayer, this should make things even better.

I like how they just throw you into the game w/o letting you see which buttons do what. You can't even check the control set up from the options menu. That's totally rad!

/sarcasm

I've still got this pre-ordered though, I think the single player will be worth it at least. The multiplayer .. not so much.

I wish that guys in space suits would get old.... Halo, that game where dudes wore yellow shiny gear but the name completely slips my mind and it failed on PS3, and all those other games where the characters wear space suits like that.

I actually think this could be one of the worse multiplayer games Ive played. I had 10x more fun with the multiplayer on the BC re-armed.

Oh well its 30 quid I can spend on something else.

@ Hammersmith: Did you close your eyes during the loading sequence where you can see exactly what every button does?

The multiplayer is ok but I don't think I will be spending much time with it to be honest but it's a nice bonus.

Um, this is cool.

I only played one match of the multiplayer demo, because I couldn't really get a hang of the controls (hur hur pun intended), and playing with randoms is never as good as playing with friends.

why the heck are they so shiny? The multiplayer seems ok, the only thing that separates it from ever other fps is the jumping and swinging of course.

This is an extremely addictive demo. It's too bad there's only one map.

I really don't understand where all the hate in the controls are. From watching a couple of videos, I already knew what to expect in terms of swinging.
It took me literally 2 matches to get into it and I have dominated every match from there. Can't wait till it's out.
