When someone tries to make videogame characters look hyper realistic, the end result usually leads to feelings of regret. "Why couldn't I just let that link be and move on?" The same effect can be found even for a game like The Binding of Isaac. You'd be forgiven for thinking it couldn't get that much more creepy.
Consider that a fair warning for the content of this teaser trailer. "Wrath of the Lamb," the impending expansion for Isaac, will be released on May 28. As you might recall, it's only going to cost $3 and will contain a significant amount of new content (bullet points to follow).
According to designer Edmund McMillen, Isaac has sold more than 500k copies thus far. After the expansion is taken care of, he'll transition into full-time work on Super Meat Boy: The Game.
