Demon's Souls made great use of grey to create some bleak, stormy levels. It contrasted shades excellently and married it to some inspired architecture to create something evocative. Binary Code, on the other hand, is just grey cubes and grey streets. It's not inspiring at all.
Maybe when he gets alittle older
considering all of the screens Sega released so far, Binary Domain will be very far from generic looking shooter in terms of visuals. plus i think the overall graphics looks really good - frankly it's one of the best looking japanese titles i've seen in a very long time.
Athough considering I generally play colourfull Japanese games that playing a grey realistic shooter makes a change for me.
Months from now when im play the game and half way through the game setting switches to moulin rouge at xmas I know who to blame :)
