D3 Publisher has released the trailer announcing the impending arrival of Onechanbara Z Kagura for Xbox 360. The zombie-slashing Cheesecake Factory, Aya is back for another round and you can see her gearing up for combat against a variety of vicious beasts. There are also gratuitous flashes of bare flesh because this is Onechanbara, after all.

The last Onechanbara had a lot of problems but the setting is so kooky and weird that I'll still give it another chance if it looks like some lessons were learned. I just can't resist the strangeness of it. Of course, that assumes D3 even wants to bring it to the west at all. Here's hoping.

Half of the video player is obscured...or was it cut in half by Aya?
In before someone accuses Onechanbara of being a God of War rip-off (but with a main character wearing more clothes than Kratos).

Aya looks like Ratchet. At least I hope the gameplay is unchanged.

So you put up a video of Ratchet and Clank? How does this go unnoticed when you're posting the story?

Because half the time the entirety of the destructoid staff get distracted because Sterling is always emailing and calling, asking people what other words rhyme with "chubby" "drizzling" and "cum", as he's current stumped writing his next big review/newstory/column.

Wow, I hope this comes to North America; this actually has good graphics, nice boss battles, some story cutscenes that aren't just text, etc.

Well, they probably earned enough money with the first one to make a more profound one this time arround. Interesting indeed.

man they really improve alot like backgrounds, more monsters now instead of zombies, but i kinda prefer the old look of the characters in the 360 Bikini Samurai Squad and Wii Bikini Zombie Slayers games:\

i don't know but Aya seems to be mature and sexy and Saki has longer hair(which is hot) then again it's not the first time they redo the models. even in Bikini Samurai or Bikini Zombie's weren't the original ones. still she look just as sexy as the last one. but i just prefer the last one since it suits my taste :D

nevertheless it'll grow on me ^^

anyways hopefully they kept the original VA intact. Kaida Yuko as Aya is sexy :)

the music is just as amazing as ever :P

but come on D3 give us some PS3 version as well :P

also check out the games website as well(click on right for age verification)

they amp the boosoms quite a bit and the whole body is stunningly good O_____O

glad to see the music is still amazing as the last one :P

I'm not familiar with the series, but I'm quite sure it says the main heroines are new characters.

Is it unlikely for this to get a PS3 port? I don't really mind it being Japanese, but I don't have an xbox. Was there a shift, because I thought the older games were on PS2; maybe they haven't found good develop strategies for PS3.

@lifestorm2
seems unlikely
because tamsoft don't even know how to develop PS3 game

but i guess this game NA/EU version will coming early 2012?(old rumor from 2011 June)

As silly as the premise is in the the Oneechanbara games it actually is a solid little title. This new one looks like it's going to tap into its potential, so I can't wait to try it out it.

aww man she's not actually Aya and Saki!?!?!?!

sorry about that, just watch the video immediately since i was super excited about the game.

oh the name of the characters are Kagura(the one that looks like Aya) and Saaya(the one that looks like Saki)

i also saw Aya in her old self!!!!!

also Saki is back :)

both of them are in black colour attire and all.

you can see Aya near the end of the trailer facing Kagura and Saki in the subway facing Saaya.

could this be they are antagonist or are we the bad guys???

i want a playable Aya and Saki as well as Reiko, Anna and Misery :P

Unlockable maybe???

man i am too excited for this O____O

Hey this doesn't actually look awful. I was kind of expecting Onechanbara but slightly changed from the last one which looked like garbage. I'm pleasantly surprised this looks fun.

CALM DOWN. Dude, it isn't Shakespeare, and Japan replaces old characters with ones that are freaking IDENTICAL all the time! Quit trying to find a deeper meaning to this pandering garbage.
