It didn't really come as a surprise when Microsoft announced an Xbox 360 price drop for this Wednesday and it should come as even less of a surprise to learn that once again Europe is left out in the cold. Talking to IGN, Microsoft gave a concise, abrupt answer to questions about a reduced price in the PAL territories:
"This announcement was specifically around pricing in the US. We have not announced any pricing changes in Europe."
Thanks for that.
So there we are, no current savings to be made for European gamers. As you should already know, Canada's getting nothing either, so at least we in the land of fish n' chips have some friends this time. Now join me as I crudely write out, "Why don't you marry America if you love it so much," on the back of a napkin and mail it to The 'Soft.

Fo' cereal though: is MS forgetting that only Europe cares about PES2008 on the 360? You know, it could actually sell them more consoles than Halo3 over here... PES6 sold more than 3 million copies over all platforms in Europe.
I guess we'll all just be buying the PS2 version then.
