tri-Ace and Konami are working together to bring us a new 3DS title, Beyond the Labyrinth, and it looks incredibly pretty. It's been described as a dungeon RPG, though any further details are hard to come by.

An official site is open, with a very nice sample of the soundtrack. Otherwise, all we have are these screens from Famitsu, which have a shade of Team ICO about them. Bleak, but in a rather beautiful way.

I'm not the biggest fan of tri-Ace, but the team's portable efforts outshine its console productions. I'll be keeping an eye on this one, for sure.

Dragon Age: Inquisition combat makes me want to play Final Fantasy XII

Let's be fair, a lot of seemingly arbitrary things make me want to replay Final Fantasy XII. A lack of time coupled with a naive hope for an HD re-release always keep me from doing so, leaving me in a perpetual state of want...more
