Xbox 360 and PC owners have known for awhile what PlayStation 3 owners will shortly find out -- Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles is a killer expansion pack. Announced today for the PS3, this standalone disc will be available at retail, and will require gamers to already have a copy of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Originally released in March of this year for the Xbox 360 and PC (alongside the launch of Oblivion for the PS3), Shivering Isles expands on the game's universe by giving gamers an entirely new realm to explore. Throw in some new enemies, items, and more, and you've got yourself a fine 30 hour gameplay experience.
No word on firm release date or whether or not this will also be making its way to the PlayStation Network, but where there's money to be made, there's a way. In other words, count on it in the near future.
