On the one hand maybe this means the 360 beta tests will pick up some major cross platform bugs and PC and PS3 will benefit in some small way from the 360 timed exclusivity deal, which is proving really corrosive to the fans' good will.
On the other, I don't know that I trust Bethesda to see any such bugs that are identified properly corrected at PC and PS3 launch...

Uhhhhhh...did anyone else get a message on XBL like 5 minutes after you signed up for this beta? It says something about your account being suspended due to payment problems? Just asking for safety cuz that happened to me.
I doubt the beta application has anything with you not paying your bills. Nothing in the app tied it to your XBL account.
This is pretty awesome, but if it uses your Skyrim saves there are going to be a LOT of idiots beta testing on their main files and then trying to play with those same saves on release. I can just imagine the potential conflicts.
@Rammstein: yep, the only problems I've ever had with Skyrim was a total of 7 mammoths falling from the sky and dying, a dragon spawning out of no where and falling(he died, easy dragon soul).
Otherwise the only other minor problems I've had is occasional 2 second texture pop in when I fast travel, not as annoying as RAGE's pop ins.
I've played the game since launch on PS3 with two characters each with 90+ hours logged in. I must be one of the lucky few.

@TSAVO: Actually, yes. I do have a PS3. I just never use it because, well, quite frankly, the Xbox 360 Slim I also have does everything better. :3

c'mon man. its mid 2012. do you still have to be jaded about which console you use? why not use all of them and recognize the strengths and weaknesses of each system you have. At this point your being childish. I'm not saying that ps3 is the best system ever, far from. but at least have the damn intellect to know that none are the best. Before you fanboy cry that its the best, do a little damn research. Realize that none of them are. Even pc, and it takes a lot for me to admit that.

People still use Xbox 360? In 2012? Even with all the red rings, multiple disks, no access to mods, ect? tsk tsk, brah. PC does everything your console does, but better and a million other things. Without randomly dieing because its made like a cheap chinese dollar store toy. So how many 360's have you bought in the last 8 years?

Really tired of these "releases notoriously buggy games" comments. Yes, TES games tend to buggy, did anyone ever stop to think how, or even why? TES games also tend to be miles ahead of the competition with what you can accomplish in game, and the massive amount of things you can actually do.

I'd have to agree. I can see that the bugs are in no way a small problem, but I've honestly never had a problem with Skyrim, or Fallout NV, the other game people claim was as buggy as hell.

They should seriously consider doing this for the PS3 version of the DLC after all the problems the game has had.
250+ hours in Oblivion, about 200 in Fallout 3, 100+ in Fallout NV and 100+ in Skyrim. Other than getting stuck in scenery (which only really happened a lot in Oblivion), my problems have basically been confined to some random freezes. Guess I'm just lucky.

Holy crap, I hope people actually read the ToA for the beta. There's a part in it that says that if you give Bethesda a reason to sue you, you have to pay for their lawyers.
As long as we're couting problems, nearly every time i've tried fo play Skyrim for the past thre emonths have either involved or ended in a freeze. For things like Opening a door, to jumping in the water.
Water.
Not to mention the nightmare I read that randombullseye was having with the game trying to fix that very issue: his saves no longer work! But I guess its a fair trade for getting water to not lock your game up...
Yeah, I'm salty about that right now.
But, my 360 is barely better. I tend toward my PS3, because I frankyl don't want to put my dumb 360 through too much strain. Great games bro, but the prospect of replacing that system on my own dime (oh I'm well out of warranty) is NOT high on my want list right now.
