The Elder Scrolls 5. NOW!

I bet the game is Bethesda's big unannounced Wii project that it first revealed back in May 2009. The developer said that it would officially announce the title later in the year.

Didn't I see a quote from one of their Devs that stated they had no plans to work on ANY TES game in the near future? Caused quite a stir over at the Fallout 3 forums, but I didn't venture into the Oblivion forums for fear of being struck by huge chunks of falling sky...

I'm guessing whatever they are up to is going to completely alienate their PC gamer fan base. Just a prediction.

Fallout 3: New Vegas?

They're up to their arms in Fallout 3 DLC, so I don't see why not.

I'd shit myself if it was Elder Scrolls, though.

@Magnalon: I hope not, but I guess I wouldn't put it past them. I want something 100% new, not an announcement about something that's already been announced.

I'd seriously doubt it was Fallout: New Vegas... what with that already having been announced...

If it's a new Elder Scrolls, I hope they use some of what they learned from WET to make the third person camera/controls better.

True, it's already been announced, but maybe they're going to give a full press release including possible future DLC packs, characters, and future Fallout projects?

An Elder Scrolls MMO is the worst idea ever. The whole core audience of the franchise is people who enjoy an immersive, epic, single player experience, not one littered with other people running around like idiots, spamming messages, gold farming, kill stealing, loot stealing, etc. Making it an MMO would ruin the very type of experience that made people fans of the Elder Scrolls in the first place.

That said, I WOULD enjoy multiplayer capabilites in my Elder Scrolls, so I could romp through the land with a couple buddies, but an MMO? Hell no, I'll pass.

I say some Elder Scrolls kind of game only set in other galaxies. That would rock. Like the Jetsons.
